NICEP ONLINE ENROLLMENT

CEP Course - $1695 (includes 1st Year Certification Fee)
CEP Course EXAM ONLY - $695 (see below)
MCEP Course - $1995 (for CEP only)

By completing and submitting this online enrollment application, I understand and agree to the following:

  1. Enrollees may submit a $295 pre-registration fee to reserve a seat in an upcoming class. However, the entire enrollment fee (or balance due) is to be fully paid no less than 10 business days in advance of either course. If registration is cancelled prior to the Class, a refund will be issued equal to 95% of any enrollment fees paid. Once an enrollee attends the Class, there is no refund policy whatsoever.

  2. All course material is owned and copy-written by NICEP, and no material may be copied, loaned, or reproduced without written permission from NICEP and only for personal business applications.

  3. Successful completion of the course requires passing an exam with a minimum score of 70%, and the exam requires a proctor to supervise the test process to assure that the examination takes place without the aid of study materials, notes or assistance. When necessary there is a $10 retest fee.

  4. Attorneys and CFP®s may request a waiver of the educational component of the Certified Estate Planner™ Course, submit $695, and sit for the CEP® Exam one time. However, in this instance, successful completion of the exam requires a minimum score of 80%. Those who are unsuccessful may then submit $1000 and attend the Certified Estate Planner™ Course in order to retake the exam and obtain the CEP® designation.

  5. The information presented is intended to educate the applicant to the various issues of estate planning, it is not presented for the purpose of giving financial, legal or tax advise, and no one should take any action upon anything contained in the materials until they first discuss their individual fact situation with an attorney licensed in their state who is in good standing with their state’s Supreme Court and who is knowledgeable of their state’s law.

  6. The certification fee for the use of the CEP® designation in the first anniversary year is included in the cost of the Certified Estate Planner™ Course. The CEP® or MCEP® designation is immediately conferred upon successful completion of the respective course and examination. Annual fees, continuing education, and ethical standards are requirements for the ongoing use of any professional designation offered through NICEP.

  7. Strategic Affiliates of the National Institute of Certified Estate Planners make business services available to CEP®s and MCEP®s, but there is no obligation or requirement to use these affiliate services.
